In December 2016, our family was blessed with the birth of my niece, Louise Glasgow. Born weighing only 5 lbs. 4 oz., Louise spent a little time in the NICU, which is where I first met her. As I sat in the NICU, holding her for the first time, my mind was flooded with all of the things I wondered about her life. This is where the inspiration for this book began and I got to work writing it.

Fast forward to September 2020. I'm now sitting in the NICU with my own son, Peyton McCord, and I find myself wondering the same things about his precious life, as well as the life of my oldest son, James. It took almost four years, but I decided to put the final touches on this book.

I hope you enjoy reading this story to your little one and reminding them of God's perfect plan for their life.
