This is how these poems came to be written. I was in prison from 1978 until 2005. I was married in prison to my wife in 1985. She stood by me for twenty years until I was released from prison in July of 2005. I wrote these poems and sent them to her over the years, and she saved them. When I got out of prison, she told me I should have them published. My wife died in 2017, and I finally decided to have them published. So these are poems from prison to my wife. Enjoy!
