The introduction takes a closer look into the music staff. In order to understand the big picture, the student must learn what goes on between the blurry lines and in between the open spaces. There are 5 lines & 4 spaces on the music staff. Each note can be circled around the line, which is called, a line note. Each note can be circled around the space note which is called, a space note. This is because it is simply a circle with no line in between. (o) The next way is knowing the clef signs. Clef signs have 2 parts. One is for the right hand and one is for the left hand. The Treble Clef sign, also known as the G clef sign usually goes on the top line of the staff and is played with the right hand. The Bass Clef sign, also known as the F clef sign usually goes on the bottom line and is played with the left hand.
