Molecular, Clinical and Environmental Toxicology offers a comprehensive and in-depth response to the increasing importance and abundance of chemicals during daily life all over the world. About 29 million different organic and inorganic compounds are currently listed in the Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) database and there are additions almost every day. The present volumes have been written for students and professionals in medicine, science, public health or engineering who are demanding reliable information and knowledge on toxic or potentially harmful agents and their effects in the human body. Since increasing numbers of patients claim for creeping "environmental intoxication" as the cause of their health problems, today more than ever physicians and health care providers require current information on both acute toxic compounds and less potent xenobiotics present in our environment.
