May Your Joy Be Full

1,300 Health and Prosperity Bible Affirmations to Bless You and Yours

Maria Maris

Self-Help / Motivational & Inspirational

From the book -- May Your Joy Be Full; 1,300 Health and Prosperity Bible Affirmations to Bless You and Yours, by Maria Maris: I Believe! What else is there to do if not to believe; and how else can we draw nearer to God and safely get through life without believing? “The just shall live by faith,” the Bible tells us, and that “Without faith we cannot please God.” We’re also constantly reminded that “All things are possible to them that believe.” We hardly get through each day without anxiety relating to either health, finances, business, or relationships, etc. Indeed, only who feels it knows it. And we sometimes wonder if God is still alive, if He has abandoned us to our doom, and whether there’s still any atom of hope for us, or should we simply give up and drag ourselves through life. But the Bible disagrees. God disagrees! And in His own words He said: “I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you... I will give you treasures and riches.” And our Lord Jesus said: “I am come that you might have life more abundantly.” I still remember the glorious day I came across the Bible verse that says: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” And, indeed, joy did come that morning... When you’re joyful, your whole being lights up, mostly from the inside out, and you can’t help being aware of it’s presence in you; and people around you can feel it too, or rather, be uplifted by it, even spiritually healed. I soon realized I could recreate a good dose of that feeling, that joy, by going back to the source — the Bible, which says that God wants us to have joy in abundance, telling us to do this or that so our joy may be full. There are over 500 mentions of various ‘joy’ related words in the KJV Bible, like ‘enjoy,’ ‘joyfulness,’ ‘joyful,’ ‘joyous,’ ‘joyfully,’ ‘joyed,’ ‘joying,’ ‘rejoice,’ etc., and of course ‘joy,’ assuring us that God wants us to have abundant joy. I hereby share my personal version of some Bible passages which have blessed me, in the hope that they will remind you of the wonderful promises, miracles and power of God, and help you find more faith and strength in trusting God to shower you and yours with more peace, happiness, healing and blessings. As I mentioned in my other book -- “555 Affirmations from Psalms” -- many of them are my interpretation of some of the verses in the KJV Bible; (some others, of course, are very much as they appear in the KJV Bible). As a young girl I had a hard time understanding the old English therein, so the Spirit led me to start writing down my personal version of what I felt some of the verses were trying to tell me. Be Blessed! And May Your Joy Be Full. -- Maria Maris
