2014年に刊行された「VINTAGE DENIM」は、2019年の改訂版を経て今年2022年版として「VINTAGE DENIM EXTRA」を上梓する。本書はアメリカ製のヴィンテージ・デニムを中心に、その時代におよそ生まれたプロダクツを収集しており、一部のアイテムを除きユーズドショップから集めた物となっている。そのため国内に現在流通しているヴィンテージ・デニムの様々なトレンドも見えてくる。また収集するヴィンテージ・デニムの年代も広げており、時代背景が反映されたデニムプロダクツの移り変わりも見て辿れる。「旧いは偉い」。そういう価値観はもちろん未だにあるが、多様化がもはや普遍的なものとなっている現在では、風変わりなデザインにも新たな価値が生まれてきている。
