What to read after Hindsight with Hollie: The Poetic Journal?

I never in a million years would have imagined that I would be writing a book at fourteen years old. When I discovered my love for poetry, it was sudden. I was assigned to write a poem for a class in school, while writing I discovered how interesting and entertaining I found it to be. I have always loved English and writing, but I never really thought about finding a hobby that is centered around it.

After writing a few poems, I decided to start sharing them on a few online platforms. I never dreamed that I could inspire people. I'm just a teenager from a small community. Knowing that I can actually help and inspire others by doing something that I love brings me so much joy. When people started telling me that I should write a book, I pushed the idea away because it honestly kind of scared me. I didn't know if anyone would buy it. I didn't even know where to begin.

I am so very fortunate to have great family, friends, and supporters who have stood behind me throughout this whole journey. This has been such an eye-opening, exciting, and amazing adventure. I hope and pray that this book inspires many people in many different places and positions. Never give up, and never forget how strong and amazing you are. You can do anything you set your mind to. You have a purpose in this life, and the world most definitely needs you.
