The survey also showcases that the government's "Make in India" mission has included IT among the 25 focus sectors. Thus, the focus and study of software development projects is appropriate in the current scenario. The usage and application of IT is appropriate in all the industrial and non-industrial domains. The usage of IT in all the domains helps to automate the processes, reduce errors and respond in a timely manner to any events that may occur in the system context. For example - in the healthcare domain, uncertainties about safeguarding patient health data are driving the spending on information systems globally. Healthcare technology is changing rapidly and healthcare organizations are shifting to virtual platforms and mobile technologies to support healthcare delivery and operations. Additionally, health records are being digitalized and the IT systems that support the delivery of healthcare services have become more complex over a period of time. The need for automated healthcare systems to respond within a specific period of time to development that supports care delivery while ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies has become critical. Hence, development of software systems using agile methodologies offer solutions to many of these types of industrial challenges in different domains and sub domainS.
