What to read after China Standard: GB/T 10066.4-2004 Test methods for electroheat installation Part 4: Indirect resistance furnaces?

This part of GB/T 10066 Test methods for electroheat installation applies to industrial electric resistance furnace and laboratory resistance furnace (for example pit furnace, box furnace, car bottom furnace, bell furnace, or furnaces of any similar construction) with an automatic temperature control system, the rated temperature in the range from 250℃ to 1800℃, with either a natural atmosphere or a special atmosphere composed of neutral gases, or control atmosphere or vacuum, which is resistance furnace of intermittent or continuous type, resistance melting furnace and holding furnace for heating and heat treatment. These furnaces may be constructed either with forced air circulation or not.

This standard is special provision for indirect resistance furnace (hereinafter referred to as resistance furnace), and is intended to be used in conjunction with GB/T 10066.1-2004. The object of this standard is standardization of the test conditions, fundamental measurements and general test methods applicable to above furnaces.

   This standard is not applicable to electric heating equipment for household and similar purposes.
