One day Chichi Kelinci goes out for a walk with her family. They spend a wonderful time playing and having fun. When mommy gets tired she has a sleep under a tree – but not before telling her children to stay near her.
Sadly each daughter disobeys her and in turn they wander off. Each one finds something delicious to eat. When they return, however, they are all alarmed to find that their fur has taken on the color of the food they ate. When mommy wakes up, she realizes something is wrong. Despite being cross with them for not having done what she said, she forgives them all and takes them to the river where they wash their fur which soon returns to their normal color.
