Carriers of the Kingdom

Seeker 7

Dian Layton

Juvenile Nonfiction / Religious / Christian / Early Readers

Imagine an invisible Kingdom that is very, very real. It is a place where you can discover the Great King and His castle with secret towers and mysterious underground passageways. It is a place where you are invited to experience an exciting, life-changing adventure!

But there is one problem...one BIG problem...dragons!

When the King opened the castle's tower window of the Secret Place high above the beautiful Kingdom, He pointed out to Seeker and the other kids a distant land—the Land of Laws Forgotten and the Valley of Lost Dreams.

Crouched in the background, ever present but never seen, were disgusting, smelly, slobbering, nose-picking dragons that ruled people throughout the World Beyond the Kingdom. Pride, Greed, and Corruption lurked in the shadows breathing nasty dark thoughts into the minds of the people, causing trouble throughout the land.

The Kingdom children looked up at the good King as He opened the Great Book filled with truth and goodness. "I need you to take my Kingdom to the people and children there. My Kingdom of Joy and Peace is within you—because you all really wanted to know the truth."

Even knowing that dragons prowled around the land, Seeker courageously announced to his friends, “Come on everybody! Let’s go! We must tell them that the King has not forgotten them—He has been waiting for us to carry His Kingdom to them!”
