After a secret rendezvous goes fatally awry, store-crossed lovers Rhea and Wren, sixteen-year-olds from opposite sides of the last truck stop in existence, find themselves hunted and on the run, forced to survive in the post-utopian wreckage of an alien-blighted civilization.
