Die neue arabische Bibliothek. In einem integralem Konzept wurden multifunktionale Möbel von Studierenden der Architektur zusammen mit geflüchteten Gasthörern entworfen und gebaut. Die Möbel dienen nicht nur dem Bibliotheksbetrieb, sondern können auch für Workshops und Veranstaltungen genutzt werden.
Prof. Donatella Fioretti and her team, Chair of Design and Construction at the Technical University of Berlin planned a Design Build project for Baynetna.Between Us. in the winter semester of 2016/17. In an integrated concept, architecture students and refugee guest students designed and built multifunctional furniture. This furniture is not only used for typical library functions but as well for workshops and events.
