What to read after All Around the World?

The Coronavirus A.K.A (COVID-19) has and is still currently taking the lives of many in unprecedented numbers. This pandemic was a sudden disruption in the lives of children worldwide and adjusting to this new norm was no easy task. "All Around The World" is a warm, heartfelt and beautifully written book for children. Regardless of your age, race, occupation, gender, education, financial status, social hierarchy or internet influence, we're all fighting against the spread of COVID-19. This is a thank you book dedicated to everyone everywhere whether your role in fighting against the Coronavirus is on a small scale or you're on the frontlines we are united as one. All Around The World was written to serve as a teaching tool to help parents and teachers open up a discussion with your children about COVID-19. "What is the Coronavirus?" "What you can do to stay safe and stop the spread?" "How can you help cheer up and give hope to people who are sick or have lost a loved one?" I believe that its vital for children to understand we are all connected and that they are apart of something bigger. It is our job as parents and educators to empower children with truth, equip them with knowledge and expand their scope in the way they view the world. Children need to know that they are essential parts of a grand spectrum. Their contributions and gifts to the world matter and is greatly appreciated. My goal with this book is to answer common questions relating to COVID-19, address any concerns and ease anxiety children may be experiencing as a result of COVID-19. In the words of the famous poet, Maya Angelou "Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud."
