When I see my parents, and how wonderful and happy they are; it inspires me to live a life like them. However, if I compare myself with them, they have a better and more mature way of dealing with emotions and social conflicts. In addition, they have powerful intellectual and great problem-solving techniques, and excellent knowledge regarding any field, politics, finance, social issues, parenting, and dealing day to day life.


Growing old is like a blessing for their relationship, coming together in a strong bond. But, of course, they still fight & get angry. Nevertheless, I believe they live a healthy life despite some health issues: slow walking, hard of hearing, coughing and snoring, forgetfulness, breathlessness, joint pains, and back pains. As I am stepping to that age, I started to think about how they manage alone. I am not there with my parents all the time, and neither do our kids will be with us. Being a community occupational therapist, I spend much time with the elderly population every day and know the issues with age. I collated vital, valuable information for the elderly and older adults in the form of a personalized diary. It shares information related to ageing and also suggests strategies for their management.


This booklet provides space to jot down the mindful checklist and record the history of any related decline. It also includes the Home exercise program with pictures. A recording will help us check information related to our parent's journey. The last pages of this Diary have room to record essential numbers and medicine names with time to take in and, any medicine needed in an emergency mentioned by doctors.
