What to read after Adventures of Huckleberry Finn?

Mark Twain wrote The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn as a sequel to The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Tom and Huck have found a huge sum of money through their adventures in the previous book. Thereafter, Huck is adopted by Mrs. Douglas, who tries to ‘sivilize’ him with the help of her sister Miss Watson. However, he is forcibly taken away by his father and kept in a backwoods cabin. Here, he fakes his own murder and runs away to live in the Mississippi wilderness where he comes across Jimmy, the slave of Miss Watson, who has also run away on learning that he is to be traded.
