It strongly emphasizes the importance of cultivating a deep understanding of the life and teachings of Christ while at the same time nurturing a love for the Church as the body of Christ. It is the spirit on which Aletheia Theological Seminary (henceforth Aletheia) formulates its motto. Aletheia exists to be a partner of the Church in preparing believers to learn about the person and work of Christ, as well as nurturing the heart to experience healthy spiritual growth.
